Lesa Thompson

This was a long afternoon, but Tazia organised us so we were doing different activities throughout. Started with sorting & loading some of the trucks for aid stops, then also helping to sort some of the bags for registration.

Lovely to meet other cyclists & Emporia locals. So impressed by the young kids who are stepping up to race.

Thanks for the pizza break!

Awesome to be part of the behind the scenes preparation for the event. Having been a participant for two years, I appreciate the work done by volunteers & I was very happy to be part of the hard-working team who helped prepare the bags for participants to pick up next week at registration.

Tasia was very good at coordinating the volunteers - everyone from little kids to (slightly) more mature adults.
