While Waste Connections appears to do an impressive job managing the 6800 TONS of "garbage" they compact, cover w/ a layer of dirt and repeat daily, weekly, monthly, yearly, I found the experience profoundly disturbing on so many levels.... So so so much trash! So so so much recoverable/reusable, recyclable and just plain avoidable.... Just super sad to witness first hand how badly we're trashing our precious planet. That said, the tour and staff were interesting, open to all questions and truly seem to care about the surrounding neighborhoods and Erie community.
