Walking for St. Jude meant so much to me. Even though the weather made it tough with the rain pouring and the steep inclines along the way, I kept going because I knew it was for a greater cause. Supporting children and families affected by cancer felt deeply personal to me, especially since my dad passed away from cancer. Even though he wasn’t a kid, I thought about him the entire time, and that gave me the strength to finish. The walk reminded me why it’s important to keep showing up for others and to help bring hope where it’s needed most.❤️
It was a great day volunteering for St. Jude! I had lots of fun and met so many great people.
I had such a great time cleaning up the BeltLine! It was a lot of fun, and I’ve always loved doing my part to help the environment.
I really enjoyed my time doing tree restoration, where we removed poison ivy, English ivy, and privet trees. The work was hands-on and rewarding, and I learned a lot about how invasive plants affect the environment. Ms. Suzy made the experience fun and welcoming, which made me look forward to coming back. Overall, it was a meaningful and enjoyable service, and I definitely plan to participate again!
Making no-sew blankets was a fun and meaningful experience! I learned how something handmade can provide comfort and hope to families in need. This project showed me the value of teamwork, compassion, and giving back to the community!
I had the opportunity to volunteer during move-in at Georgia State University, where I helped students and their families settle into their dorms. It was rewarding to see how even small acts of assistance made the transition smoother for them. I enjoyed meeting and connecting with both new and returning students throughout the process. This experience reminded me of the importance of community support and teamwork. Overall, I truly appreciated being part of such a meaningful event.
I had a lot of fun with L.O.V while making peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for the community!
It was such a joy creating these cards, and I truly hope they bring a smile to someone's face! I will definitely be making more!
