Today, October 23rd, I was able to participate in a panel at Grimsley High School providing insight on HBCUs. During my time here with the organization Visionary Pathfinders, we were able to connect and share advice on ways to prepare for college while still in high school.

On October 6th, I was able to participate in the Honors College annual participation in the Greensboro CropWalk to raise funds for STOP HUNGER. CROP Hunger walks help to provide food and water, as well as resources that empower people to meet their own needs. In addition, I had the pleasure to donate money to help the Honors College goal of meeting $1500 donations.
I had the amazing opportunity to visit Eastern Guilford High School with my organization Visionary Pathfinders on October 3rd, 2024. During our visit, we talked to high school students about the ins and outs of everyday college life. We already completed high school and have been in their shoes. Therefore, our duty was to inform them on ways they can be successful in college as well as thrive.
Earlier today, October 1st, I had the opportunity to visit the Youth Focus Center with other Aggie students. Our goal was to be supportive and positive role models to the children at this facility. Some things we did today included group discussions and collaborative games with the children. It was such an honor to see everyone face and leave an impact on Children's Day.
I had the opportunity to benefit the Greater Greensboro community through community service on September 21st, 2024, between 9:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.! This service is also known as Backpack Beginnings, and I helped them achieve their purpose of providing families with the resources their children need to succeed. During my time here, I bagged various goods from the food pantry as others helped to sort through garments. I liked giving back to those in need and intend to do so again.
North Carolina A&T's Honors College hosted a wonderful day of service event that was held on August 19th in various locations. Myself and a few other honors students were able to give back at the Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest NC. During our time here, we assist in packaging 3,269 meals for families stored in boxes! These included meats, vegetables, snacks, and fruits. I had the pleasure of being able to help with the area of food security and supply unknown families with things they can enjoy.
