I learned how to craft and improve my resume. I learned what recruiters look for in applicants' resumes.

I learned more about the different programs available at PGCC and how to determine which is appropriate for specific goals, such as transfer to a four-year institution and immediate entrance into the workforce.

I attended the Strive tutoring @Largo CPA. I was able to get help for my Calculus 2 class, as well as having a nice environment to get some work done.

I went to the BEYA conference in Baltimore with the STEM Collegian Club. I attended different workshops and a career fair. I learned about different job opportunities and got to meet new people.

I attended the STEM Collegians Center beginning-of-the-semester meeting. I learned about the interesting events planned for this semester, such as conferences and college tours.

I learned more about Human trafficking. There are so many things that I did not know about it. The speaker was very knowledgeable on the topic.

I learned so much about STRIVE. I am excited to attend the tutoring session at PGCC's Largo campus on the 24th of next month. I also look forward to participating in STRIVES other up coming event, such as workshops starting next week.

In this Refresh, I was reminded of the requirements of the promise scholarship, such as attending 2 mini sessions and acquiring 15 SSP hours.

We went over the important scholarship information. I was reminded of the importance of completing all the requirements for the PGCC Promise Scholarship, such as give pulse hours and maintaining above a 2.5 GPA.

Went on a field trip with the Chemistry club to DC water, a water treatment plant in DC. I learned a lot about the process of treating water and new potential careers in Biology and Chemistry. Overall a great time!
