The end of the semester meeting was very informative. It was a great way to remind myself of all the requirements needed for the scholarship. Overall, I had a great time listening to everyone.

This mini session was a great way to learn new techniques on how to reduce stress. As someone that struggles with anxiety, the 54321 method is a great method to incorporate in life to ground me.
The men’s soccer game was really easy to enjoy. At moments things got intense but the end result was well deserved. I’m glad they won against their opponent.
This game was so much fun to watch. Although, pgcc lost to their opponent there atmosphere of the match was still lighthearted and easily enjoyable.
This meeting was a great refresher on how to navigate the pgcc app. I didn’t realize how many features the app had, so now I’m more inclined to look thoroughly at the app to see if I need help with something.
STRIVE 360 Workshop: Mind Right, Mood Right:
This meeting was very informative. There was so much information being talked about and I learned so much. I learned that being a good listener can get you opportunities, as well as learning that counseling is something that we always have available to us as students.
Event: Build Your Résumé with Little or No Work Experience
This meeting was very informative. As someone who needs help fixing my resume, this meeting was helpful in many ways. Ms. Alicia Jackson Warren explained things very well, and one of the things I learned was to use action words to capture the person who is reading your résumé’s attention.
The transfer fair was a great way to communicate one on one with many different colleges. I was able get information about my own major as well as scholarship opportunities. The pamphlets I took also have a lot of information about each college if I ever want to look back at them.
Booked and Busy: Leveling Up Academically- Virtual: During this STRIVE meeting I was able to get so many tips by Mr. Heat and Ms. Ositelu. I liked how they talk about personal experiences and applying those experiences into things we should be doing as well.
The club fair was a great way to introduce me to new people and clubs I’ve never heard of. There were a lot of options, so it was a bit overwhelming. Overall, I had a great time there.
