I go to meet so many new people. I think this impact has helped me enhance my communication skills which is very important for me moving forward in my my college career. I would love to do services like these in the future and meet new people! The only thing was how hot it was, but that was expected!

It was one of the most impactful volunteering experiences that I have had as a KSU Pre-Dental member. I got to work alongside dental students, dentists, pre-dental students, etc., which is important to experience the work field in real life as a dental student. At the event, we worked to provide free dental care to special needs athletes. Something that I picked up that really stuck to me is how patients are treated during dental care. I think that is an important factor to consider in the dental field to ensure patients are comfortable during procedures. I hope to participate in such volunteering events in the future!

This was my first volunteer event that I have done as a freshman at KSU! For my first ever service event, I learned so many things and gained important skills such as patience, communication, and teamwork that has enriched my experience. I also met many new people that have different aspirations in life and that motivated me to strive for better. I hope to be more involved in future events in the coming years!
