We painted a "Holding Our Ground" sign, deepened our knowledge about the impact of the pipeline on our berms, and came together as a community to grieve and sing in solidarity. It was beautiful.

A lovely morning. I served as a group lead. We planted several new plants, then weeded and mulched on of the phase II berms.

We weeded bermuda grass out of one of the phase 2 beds, and added mulch to even out the pathways out of the pecan grove.

We chopped up lots of branches for a new compost pile, and helped remove and compost a limb from an old tree. Robert did a workshop on how to make compost tea.

I am developing an active hatred for Bermuda grass! We spent the whole morning weeding it from a berm.
