About
Allowing middle school students to explore a variety of science topics to determine what to pursue for future education/career choices in high school and college. Topic types are academic (e.g. invasive species), process (e.g. food science lab) and engineering (e.g. bottle rockets). Kids compete at a regional, state and eventually national level.
We are looking for mentors who could be subject matter experts in engineering, mechanics, construction, natural sciences and can volunteer 1-2 hrs/wk over a 2-3 month period.
