Amazingly positive experience. Went up early, stayed late. Loved every minute. Garry said we were the most involved awesome rockstar crew in years. Amazing to see everyone see what needed to happen and step in.
Was really fun
I had an enjoyable volunteer experience. My first time at Twin Lakes aid station, my fourth volunteer-year in a row. I missed coming last year during COVID and so it was great to be back.
My email with info came very late. I was already packed to go and didn’t have time to check for correctness. Although I was signed up for Twin Lakes, the driving directions took me to Winfield. That was fine - but without cell service I couldn’t inform my host and she worried since my shift was supposed to be done at 3:30. Ben and Diana rocked their roles as captains. Almost all of the volunteers were great. Those who arrived later kn the day didn’t get the orientation and do were a little unprepared, rubbing some folks the wrong way. But the whole experience was good. I felt overwhelmed cooking because I couldn’t keep up. But more bowls would help. All in all, I’m so glad I ended up at Winfield.
I thoroughly enjoyed the entire day.
I hope they get that road graded next year! Overall, a great day pushing people back over Hope Pass, and a few years. :)

Thank you for the feedback and help!
We were juggling quite a bit with transition of our volunteer coordinator, and event manager, so we appreciate your support.
