My only suggestion is to consider mixing Coffee and hot chocolate in bulk 5-gallon Gatorade jugs instead of individual packets for each cup. Just a suggestion since it seemed like I spent time mixing individual cups that could have been time spent attending to athletes.
Overall, No complaints! Everybody I worked with was great! Good group of interesting, fun, concerned and dedicated folks.
Good time, good people, very fun to be able to support the runners and make sure they’re taken care of.
Maybe try to get TUMS as a sponsor next year, had quite a few runners request these. Couple people asked for something mint (possibly to help wakefulness or clear sinuses, idk, they were urgent but didn’t explain).
It was great fun. Great volunteers and staff. Looking forward to coming back tomorrow morning (Sunday) to help again.
Was inspiring attending such a unique event. Was glad to be able to help out as an event volunteer and also to provide some support to a runner.
It was really a fantastic experience. Inspirational.Our Aid Station leader was fantastic. Overall great group of people.
