2021 Leadville Trail 100 RUN

I really enjoyed helping at this race and experiencing the event.

Michael Melley  5 years ago Thank you for the help Ellen!

Blessed to give back to those that finished by handing out finisher buckles. As a finisher I know the feeling of receiving a buckle for completing 100 mile race and how amazing it is. Blessed to be on the giving end and seeing faces of those finishers.

I volunteered on Saturday afternoon at outward bound and thought is was such a cool opportunity to see the leaders up close, however being at the finish line this morning as the true warriors heroically achieve their goals was the highlight of the weekend. Working at the aid station to help them with a seat, a drink or food was such an honor. They were amazing. Thanks for the opportunity!

This legendary LT100 definitely lived up to its reputation! I gain a lot of personal well being from volunteering and I am glad I was able to see many participants cross the line and ‘DIG DEEP!’
