It felt great serving those in need with a hot meal and something to drink.
I don't know what happened that day. When I arrived at my destination, the staff told me that the volunteers were full and asked me to go somewhere else. I don't understand. Why didn't you notify me in advance that the volunteers were full, even though I applied? It takes me 30 minutes to walk from home. I walked to the location mentioned by the staff again and it took me 15 minutes. But everyone told me that there were no volunteer jobs there, and it took me 15 minutes to walk back. Finally, I started my volunteer work. But these things make me feel angry. I don't understand why you didn't send me an email in advance. But tease me like this.
It was a fun and exciting experience. It helped me realize that you should always be grateful for the position you are currently in because things could be worse. I enjoyed preparing meals for the elderly in the Atlanta community.
