I contributed to efforts to combat food insecurity and support individuals and families in need throughout the Atlanta community. This experience allowed me to give back, work collaboratively with other volunteers, and gain a deeper understanding of the importance of community service. Volunteering reinforced my commitment to serving others and making a positive impact through meaningful action!

This was my first experience with helping a food bank and I would love to do it again. Everyone was very friendly, I met other college students who were also volunteering, and it felt like I was making a real impact. This particular food bank services patients at Grady who have hypertension and certain dietary restrictions, which is really neat! I wish I could’ve stayed the whole time, I really enjoyed this.
