Had a fun time handing out candy to children dressed in costumes and participating in my first Boo at the Zoo. I also ran a booth with another volunteer and gave prizes out to kids who came by to play.

Zoo Atlanta was a great experience and it was great being able to do work while seeing the animals! :)

It was an amazing experience! Being able to assist the zoo in the activities they needed help with was fulfilling. It was also interesting to hear more about the zoo and the various activities they offer their customers.

It was cool to get a behind the scenes tour and just see all the animals as we cleaned up places/stained benches.

Went with Honors Discovery Course to Atlanta Zoo March 8, 2023. Worked on several projects around the zoo: spray painting “stand-tions”, staining tables and benches, cleaning signs, and preparing bags for an upcoming educator event. Amy and Aaron showed us around the zoo and what goes on behind the scenes as well. This was a really cool opportunity and I’m glad I was able to experience it!
