Attending the STRIVE Kick-Off gave me a good introduction to the program. I enjoyed meeting the staff and talking with other students who are interested in STRIVE. The event encouraged me to work toward joining the academy and earning the certificate. I am also excited about the chance to build connections through one-on-one meetings with members.
It was really helpful for a first-year student like me. I'm glad I got to attend and learn about the opportunities and events offered at PGCC.
During the Strive Kick-Off meeting, the organizers of the event had prepared a presentation. Throughout the presentation, each presenter introduced themselves and discussed what the program is and what it's about. They also discussed about their criteria about staying in the program, their Strive Academy, and much more.
Informative and encouraging session. Got to hear about the new STRIVE program and how it can benefit young men and women. Was encouraged by hearing others share their experiences and it gave a feel of what to expect with the new program. I plan on getting more involved with the program.
I attended the STRIVE orientation online, where I learned about different aspects of the program, including STRIVE Academy, the Power Circles, and STRIVE 360. It was also wonderful to see Dr. Pair again, as I was previously a member of WOW.
