I volunteered as a Trail ambassador and greatly enjoyed seeing all the families and the festivities as I was stationed at my location. I was in charge of making sure there were no incidents and reporting any mishaps.I loved helping and answering questions the people had and being able to enjoy the atmosphere. I will likely volunteer next year!

Our mentor group worked as trail guided and answered any questions people had and helped find lost children and any other issues people could have encountered during the trail of lights. It was great to work with people and serve the people of Austin and those who made trail of lights possible.

An amazing experience spent around not only wonderful children, but also the incredible friendliness of Austinites. Truly great beginning to the wonderful holiday season.

The trail of Lights event was really fun and exciting. Aside from keeping track of pedestrians crossing the fences it was fun watching everyone have a fun time looking at lights and taking pictures of all the displays around zilker park.

This day I was supposed to be in Candy Land but was assigned Santa's Workshop instead. I was in charge of the photo booth, taking pictures of families and printing them out. Santa's workshop was really cool because you could make a flip book there.

Overall great experience. Helped distribute shirts and materials to other volunteers as well as help run security on some of the exhibits.

Since Christmas is my favorite holiday, I truly enjoyed volunteering at the Trail of Lights. I was able to work at the Candyland station and great children that came by to get taffy. The Trail of Lights is a beautiful showcase of festive lights and interactive stations for everyone, and I really enjoyed helping out especially with the children. I would definitely volunteer here again!
