i had a fantastic time at this volunteer oppurtunity. not only was I treated like a member of a team, but I met a lot of new people (friends) and made a lot of new connections. I feel more confident about volunteering in general and am excited to volunteer for this event througout the month. GREAT EXPERIENCE!

I shuttled incoming people to follow where they needed to go. There was free dinner and hot chocolate too! Overall it was a fun experience and the lights were really pretty. Would recommend everyone volunteer at least once while they're here.

I had lots of fun working in Santa's workshop helping kids make frames and masks; it was very rewarding.

Being able to help the regulation of production as a trail guide gave me the wonderful experience to see the results of such a production. I am thankful for all the sponsors who gave us the opportunity to manifest joy across the city with the trail lights. I was happy to see all of the families and children enjoy themselves.

Lots of standing, but good atmosphere! And road closures were no joke..

Volunteering at the Austin Trail of Lights was an incredible experience. I had never been to the Trail of Lights in Austin or even Zilker Park until I volunteered so it was really awesome getting to experience both at once. The head people in charge were incredibly accommodating and made sure that the volunteers knew what was expected of them, making the experience more smooth-sailing. It was an awesome way to get me in the Christmas spirit!

Upon arrival we helped in any area needed. My job was to ensure that no one wrote any inappropriate comments on a large wish list that the public could write on.
