CU in the Community

In partnership with the Center for Inclusion and Social Change (CISC) and the Center for Native American and Indigenous Studies (CNAIS), the Volunteer Resource Center is hosting a letter writing campaign to build awareness about the issue of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two- Spirit+ relatives. This event will provide education on the issue, testimonies from families with missing and murdered relatives, and discussion of how to frame the issue through effective and respectful language.

After engaging in education about community need, volunteers will participate in direct action by writing letters to local, state, and federal representatives about the issue of MMIWG2S+ and how to support families in a meaningful way.
