It was a great experience to volunteer for the Texas Advocacy Project specially preparing gifts for Mother's day. The shift consisted of cleaning purses, putting a tag on them and information about the Texas Advocacy Project.
I volunteered with the Aerospace Department during explore UT. The shift consisted of helping the staff set up the volunteer room and hang up signs.
This event gave me the opportunity to learn a little bit more about DACA and be able to help keep the event organized. My responsibility was to let people know when an attorney was ready to see them. I am glad I volunteered with ULI and I would do it again.
