I had a great time making Valentine’s Day cards for the residents at Heartland Living and Rehabilitation Center.

I had a wonderful time at this event. I went and stayed with students while their teachers went and had lunch. The students were so nice and even drew me pictures. They told me about what they have been learning in class and how excited they were for Christmas. I sincerely enjoyed this event and look forward to going back.

I had a great time inspecting shoe boxes, filling them, and meeting new people. My group and I inspected about 500+ boxes.

We cleaned up a section of Barbers Park and together we filled up about 6+ bags of trash.

In our tutoring session today we went through how to highlight and underline when reading a passage. We also talked about how to use the text from the passage to help answer questions.

I had the pleasure of donating socks, batteries, and bottled water.

I had a great time meeting and getting to know the student I would be tutoring in Language Arts for the rest of the year. She is a lovely individual.

Had a great time signing people in and entering them into a raffle. I also held signs and cheered on the people who were running also giving them water when needed.
