I greatly enjoyed my experience serving at Raising Expectations today. As a volunteer, I assisted the SAL with the planned activities. Today, the class went over the scientific method and completed an activity in which the students applied the scientific method and completed an experiment. The students were tasked with completing a worksheet about the scientific method and creating a "rocket" out of construction paper and tape. Then, the students tested their rockets and tested whether their hypotheses were correct or not.

I greatly enjoyed my experience volunteering with Raising Expectations. During my time, I assisted the seniors in college readiness. This included editing their Common App and scholarship essays, as well as assisting the PALs with creating the students' various college profiles, such as Common App, Black Common App, Bold, and QuestBridge.

I greatly enjoyed my experience working with Blankets 4 My Buddies to create blankets for unhoused veterans. Initiatives like these are extremely important, and I believe that they help foster me as a productive member of society.

I greatly enjoyed my experience working with Lifting Our Voices AUC Chapter to make sandwiches and package care bags for the unhoused community in the Atlanta area. I believe events like these encourage community engagement, as well as inspiring a sense of humility within the AUC community, and I am excited to continue participating in events like these in the future.

I greatly enjoyed my experience working with Union Mission’s Grace House. During my time serving, I help prepare and serve food to unhoused and disadvantaged individuals during both the breakfast and lunch periods. Along with serving food, I also helped with proper food preparation. This experience was extremely enlightening, and gave me the opportunity to impart a positive impact on my community, an opportunity I will make sure not to take for granted!

I enjoyed my experience working with the third graders at Agape Youth and Family Center today. During this session, I helped the students complete a reading comprehension worksheet. Afterward, the students participated in an interactive lesson about the necessity of interpersonal skills, which I helped facilitate. Finally, I accompanied the teacher and the students to the STEM room, where they played gamed until it was time for my departure. Overall, I greatly enjoyed my time with Agape Youth and Family Center today and over the course of the semester. I am elated to return next semester and continue to serve as a mentor and role model for the children.

I greatly enjoyed my experience working at Agape Youth and Family Center. Today, I was given the opportunity to assist the students in a reading comprehension worksheet that consisted of them reading a passage and then answering questions related to the passage. Afterward, I accompanied the class and their teacher to the gym, where I encouraged them to participate in the game the teacher had planned for them. Overall, today was an extremely fulfilling experience, and it is always a joy to work with the kids at Agape!

I greatly enjoyed working with the third graders at Agape Youth and Family Center today. After helping students complete a reading activity, I then proceeded to aid them in drawing pictures to correlate with the books they were given to read. I also accompanied the class, along with their teacher, outside so that the students could play.

I greatly enjoyed my time working with Agape Youth and Family Center today. During my time volunteering today, I assisted the third-grade students with Spanish and English homework. After homework hour was complete, I accompanied the children to the gym so they could participate in enrichment activities.

I greatly enjoyed working with the third-grade class at Agape Youth and Family Center. Today, I assisted the students with Spanish, English, and grammar homework. Once their homework was finished, I participated in enrichment activities with the students, including an activity on the importance of including vegetables in a healthy diet. Working with the students is always a pleasure!
