As a student success study night volunteer, I had the pleasure of monitoring and being a guide for my fellow peers!

Being a Volunteer Ambassador for our first town hall in the Environmental and Health Sciences Department was very impactful and had a positive outcome for students who were new to the major, as well as returning students. I got the chance to help set up and usher new students to their seat where their journey and first glimpse into Environmental and Health Science major life began.

On Sunday, I had the pleasure of volunteering with breaking the cycle in order to promote a clean an safe community by participating in a west end clean. We walked around the west end with trash bags and pickers and cleaned up every piece of trash we saw. It felt rewarding to be able to do good in my community.

On March 30th 2024, I had the pleasure of being apart of the Final Day. with the Morehouse Alumni Association REACH program with the Andrew and Walter Young YMCA. This program aims to promote leadership and provide examples for young Highschool boys to be prepared for College. This includes but is not limited to zooms where everyone participates in conversations regarding topics such as good communication as well as in person meetings at the YMCA for events such as group activities. This is Supervised by Mr.Levesque and FYE hours approved by Felicia Deas.

On Wednesday March 27th, I had the pleasure of volunteering with the American Red Cross Blood drive. I was a part of the refreshments team where me and my fellow Spelmanite Makyra handed out drinks, snacks, and t-shirts after people donated blood.

On March 23rd 2024, I had the pleasure of participating in the closing ceremony with the Cylinder group with the Morehouse Alumni Association REACH program with the Andrew and Walter Young YMCA. This program aims to promote leadership and provide examples for young Highschool boys to be prepared for College. This includes but is not limited to zooms where everyone participates in conversations regarding topics such as good communication as well as in person meetings at the YMCA for events such as group activities.
