On February 3rd 2024, I had the pleasure of being selected to help with the Morehouse Alumni Association REACH program with the Andrew and Walter Young YMCA. This program aims to promote leadership and provide examples for young Highschool boys to be prepared for College. This includes but is not limited to zooms where everyone participates in conversations regarding topics such as good communication as well as in person meetings at the YMCA for events such as group activities. As a student at Spelman College, it is hard to see that just around the corner, the West End is filled with trash. I was able to make a difference in my community for a safer and healthy environment by helping in the West End clean up hosted by Breaking The Cycle with my club, AUC Philly Club.
