Bridging the Gap Career Week

Tuesday, September 24th from 12:00pm to Thursday, September 26th, 2019 12:00pm

About

Bridging the Gap (BTG) is a transformative program that fundamentally changes the lives of the young people who were once in the child welfare system.  Throughout the week, youth will participate in activities to enhance their abilities to both obtain a job and strive to keep one. They will prepare a resume, learn interview skills, workplace essentials, and then practice their learned skills. Volunteers are invited to share their own experiences with youth and we encourage you to engage the participants with continuous questions.  Members of our BTG staff will be available throughout the week to offer additional support.
