CU in the Community: Operation Conservation

CU in the Community: Operation Conservation gives student volunteers the opportunity to engage with local organizations dedicated to environmental conservation. Through learning and direct service, participants will contribute to ongoing sustainability efforts, while gaining the tools and inspiration to continue action beyond this day of service.

Open Space and Mountain Parks

Collect native seeds to help restore Boulder's hiking trails.

Community Fruit Rescue

Harvest fruit from community members' trees to be donated to local animal shelters and food banks.

Dharma's Garden

Support a local community garden by moving mulch and compost, building garden beds, and more.

The application determines what organization you get matched with for this day of service. You may not get matched with your first choice. However, we assure that you will have a meaningful experience with all of our projects.
