It was a truly rewarding experience to participate in building plant propagation kits that will support hands-on environmental education. One of the highlights was exploring their butterfly farm, which features a fascinating variety of species from around the world. It was especially interesting to learn about their chrysalis chamber, where we saw hatchlings in different stages of metamorphosis. The Pavilion is doing incredible work to create a thriving ecosystem for butterflies while educating visitors about biodiversity and conservation. I’m grateful to have been part of it!

It was my 3rd time volunteering with Lockwood Foundation and it felt amazing to volunteer with them again, especially with a huge team for this National Volunteer Week! The team was super energetic and together we made a great impact in the lifes of physically challenged people by taking them on the trailrider for a hike. Hopefully I will go on a hike with them to a fourteener within this year!

I always love to do some construction activities, handle some power tools, and who knows, might help me someday when I build a house for me! Spent a good day volunteering with Habitat for Humanity once again this year making a positive impact by building affordable houses. I had the chance to attend their Home Dedication ceremony this time, and it felt heartwarming to see the smiles on the homeowners' faces. A little exhaustive job, but the impact that you make is all worth the sweat and time!

It was a wonderful experience to serve with All Aboard Animal Rescue in one of their Pet adoption events. Was a nice learning experience on how these adoption centers plan and make sure the animal that gets adopted are in the safe hands by leveraging 1 week/1 month trial periods for families who are interested in adoption but not sure if they can manage for longer time period. Learnt how to handle dogs of different characters. Also, had fun playing with the dogs while we took care of them. Overall it was a good experience and will work with them in the future.

It was great learning about Judi's house and their service to the children and families in grief. Even though our volunteering service was short, it felt good to know about them and show our minimal support in therapy room cleanup and writing thank you cards for all their donors.
