What a wonderful event--enabling me to see the "homeless" as individuals, people with individual lives and stories. I was so happy to help them for at least a few hours this day. All the providers were great to be there.

The individual I worked with was very respectful but got impatient. He took advantage of a hygiene package, a warm winter coat, the ID process, hair cut and Denver courts and finally ate. He smelled of alcohol heavily and was ready for a "shot" by the time we were done. I think the services were wonderful. Hope the homeless appreciate it ...
