2022 Leadville Trail 100 RUN

I unintentionally ended up directing traffic because I didn't want any cars on the course, and I kept hearing the words "we have a permit, the street is closed, they can find an alternative route," running through my head. I also thought a sweeper was coming, but then a long line of cars showed up. Since I hadn't officially seen a sweeper, I figured I was expected to stay there until the sweeper came. Perhaps clarification around if a long line of cars show up, you're done, or, holding back cars until the very last runners are actually done. I was absolutely fine with it, I was just suddenly like, "oh, I'm directing traffic now I guess!"
