KSU Food Forest Volunteer Day

It was a great experience, and Dajawn was extremely helpful.

Had fun coming out and cutting vines. Dajawn has so many interesting facts and so much knowledge about the environment, I feel like I could talk to him about the food forest and its adjacent actual forest for hours.

I had a great time helping Dajawn remove wisteria from newly acquired land! While we chopped away at the invasive vines we learned how to identify between different invasive and valuable plants in an ecosystem.

Had a great time volunteering in the food forest. We removed invasive species in the newly bought land in hopes of developing the land in the future.
