being a volunteer at the marathon was a wonderful experience. I love seeing all the runners and being able to assist them by handing them water or Gatorade and cheering them on. I am a people person so being able to somewhat of interact with so many people was wonderful. I would definitely do it again. Doing this put a big smile on my face and was a motivation, because now I want to run a 10K and is plan on doing it with my friend who also volunteered.

I really enjoyed pacing the 2:10 group for the half marathon! Great event, looking forward to future pacing opportunities!!

An enjoyable time. Ample amounts of fluids were provided for the occasion as well as other supplies. Station 5 had an excellent crew. My only problem was that stations location was misidentified on the website.

As a pacer, it is very disappointing to not get an official chip time. We like to be able to prove that we did what we said we were going to do, and to have an official time for our own records.
Also, picking up the bib was a challenge. The person handing out bibs made me get out of line to look up my number, once I made it there I was told I didn't get a number and to go back. I ended up waiting in line for over 20 minutes trying to pick up my pacer bib.
While it isn't your job to make us feel appreciated, if it weren't for the participants I would feel very unappreciated at this race.
