About

Day of Caring is a large multi-project volunteer event across Metro Denver, including Boulder and Broomfield counties. It is an opportunity for volunteers to get out and support community projects across the region. This event is great for corporate groups, community and civic groups, and individuals 18 and up. Choose from a range of community service projects, such as providing maintenance for farms and animal care facilities, restoring playgrounds, beautifying parks and nature trails, processing in-kind donations and more.

Celebration: After spending the morning at nonprofits throughout the area, all volunteers, agencies and companies are invited to come together for a celebration and lunch until 2:00.  Please join us at:

Sanitas Brewing Co-Boulder:  3550 Frontier Avenue, Boulder, CO 80301

T-shirts:  T-shirts will be provided to volunteers.

T-shirts will be available for pick up on:

  • Wednesday, September 10 from noon to 4:00 at Mile High United Way (711 Park Ave. West, Denver)

If arrangements are not made to pick up the shirts in advance, they will be available at the project site on event day.

If you register after September 16, your shirt can be picked up at the post-project celebration or from the Mile High United Way office at a later date if your size is not available at the project.

*please note that if you will need a form signed regarding any form of community service or other documentation is needed, please reach out to volunteer@unitedwaydenver.org PRIOR to the event.
